Langkawi International Masters will be celebrating its first annivessary year in 2010 after 9 years sucessfull running of the event.

The Golf Club Datai Bay is located within the 8,000 acre Gunung Mat-chinchang forest reserve. Opened in 1992, the 5994 meter par 72 course is sorrounded by thousand year old forest with imposing Gunung Mat-chinchang to the west and The Andaman Sea to the east. Also popular as "jungle course", The Golf Club Datai Bay had won several credentials and award and was voted as Best Top Ten Golf Course in Malaysia, by Asian Golf Monthly in 2009.
